About Us

MDC DSA Solidarity PAC is a Maryland-registered, grassroots political action committee affiliated with the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America that aims to elect candidates in Montgomery County who will benefit all residents, regardless of race, class, immigration status, gender, sexual orientation, or other identities. Our supporters are tired of empty platitudes, and demand real progressive change to empower our communities and give a voice to the 99%.

We support Marc Elrich for Montgomery County Executive; Brandy Brooks, Danielle Meitiv, and Chris Wilhelm for Montgomery County Council At-Large; and Gabriel Acevero and Vaughn Stewart for Maryland House of Delegates. Learn more about our candidates at the link below!

For the Many,
Not the Few

The candidates MDC DSA Solidarity PAC supports will enact policies that will make a real, material difference in the lives of Montgomery County residents.  They will work for universal pre-K and free tuition at Montgomery College for all residents of our county. They will lead the fight against pollution, invest in infrastructure, and stand up to big developers.

By electing these candidates, we can build a county government that is willing to fight for the needs of working families and make Montgomery County a welcoming place for everyone. We can have a voice for the 99% in our County delegation to the Maryland General Assembly. We can make sure our county and our state listen to us, not developers and special interests.

We can change our government to serve the many, not the few.
